Added: 25.03.2013 3:18 | 16 views | 0 comments

Quantic Dream has been a PlayStation exclusive studio for a while now, and they recently confirmed their commitment to having zero desire of leaving the exclusive comfort of Sony, which means Xbox 720 won't receive any Quantic content anytime soon. According to a report from CVG on Friday, Quantic Dream CEO Guillaume de Fondaumière talked about how the studio's relationship with Sony is solid and as long as they make games, it will be for Sony.

Xbox 720 to Require License Keys and Activation?

Added: 23.03.2013 18:18 | 6 views | 0 comments

Gadgehit.com writes: "One of the big rumours thats hit the internet recently is that the next Xbox, often referred to as the Xbox 720, will force users to install all the games that they buy to the hard drive, and will not require the game to be in the drive once they are playing the game. Whilst this is a great little feature for gamers who dont want to have to swap discs whenever they want to play games, it brings up another issue, how does Microsoft confirm that you do indeed own the game disc?"

Next-Gen Console Rumours Are Stupid

Added: 20.03.2013 11:18 | 6 views | 0 comments

From eGamer, "Of late, gamers are bombarded with rumour after rumour concerning the PS4, and now the Xbox 720 (code named Durango). There are countless comment threads on articles concerning the two next-gen platforms and gamers lap it up, like its factual debate. I even consider articles centred around the statement made by one Nvidia head attacking the PS4s graphical capabilities, just because AMD is under contractual obligation to Sony, to be distasteful, speculative and down right immature, lacking any regard for professionalism. We actually havent seen the final consoles in action, so such speculative debate is just as stupid as the rumours surrounding the possibility of the next Xbox being always online".

Microsoft takes ownership of XboxGold.org domain as rumored reveal date nears

Added: 19.03.2013 3:18 | 14 views | 0 comments

In no surprise, Microsoft has taken ownership of the domain XboxGold.org, weeks after filing a complaint (Case Number: 1483759) with the National Arbitration Forum. While no official ruling has been announced online, the name was transferred to Microsoft this week, according to WHOIS records. There is now only one more active case involving an 'Xbox Gold' name, though it may be decided soon. The dispute over Xbox-Gold.com (Case Number: 1484502) was submitted a day after the XboxGold.org case. The name of next-generation Xbox has been the subject of much speculation, with reports of possible names like the Xbox 720, Xbox Infinity, Xbox 8, Xbox Durango, Xbox Next and others.
